If you are attracted to something more than simply enjoying the luxury of fairytale sandy and rocky beaches, Croatia and Pag archipelago are rich in valuable historical treasure that should be explored during your vacation.
Gastro offer is in complete contradiction with the requirements of hospitality 21st century. Sheep farming and salt production are still bases of island economy. There are four products for which the island is famous for: cheese, lamb, lace  and  salt.  A  visit  to  the  island  Pag  would  not  be

complete without tasting salty Pag cheese with olive oil, or succulent lamb, which is one of the most prized island delicacies. All visitors of the island are possible to explore the historical heritage, such as underwater Roman aqueduct, the Benedictine monastery from the 14th century, Museum of Pag lace, Rector's Palace from the 15th century, the tower Skrivinat ...
Many island treasures also hide under the sea (Shipwrecked Roman trade ship with a cargo of amphorae from the first century  B C. ).  Bike  paths   lead  through

vineyards, olive groves and drywalls. For those who crave for adrenaline, the local tourist board has prepared several climbing routes on the highest peak on the island, Sv. Vid, as well as a natural phenomenon, stone imprint known as "Pag triangle."
Numerous trips on the island, as well as visits to nearby excursion destinations (Zadar, Novalja, national park Kornati, Krka, Paklenica, Plitvice lakes, northern Velebit) will show you the beauty of our nature.
